What we collect
The update form stores your email, consent wording version and consent time. The contact form stores your name, email, subject, message and a reference. Your submissions are not displayed publicly.
The calculator, comparison choices and system finder answers are used in the current browser session. We do not send those answers, calculations or an email address to retailers.
Why we use it
We use update-list details with your consent to provide the updates you request. We use contact details to handle your enquiry. You can unsubscribe here or contact us about access, correction or deletion.
Providers and access
The site is hosted using ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Stored submissions are accessible to the site operator through its hosting account. Hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Provider processing may take place outside the UK.
An email campaign service has not yet been connected to this initial site. Signups are stored for the publisher to use for the requested updates; no campaign service receives them at signup. If a service is connected, this notice will be updated to identify it before lists are transferred.
Measurement and cookies
If you accept analytics, we keep aggregate daily counts of comparison, calculator, finder and outbound-link actions. These counts do not include a visitor identifier, form values or browsing profile. Application code does not store IP addresses for these counts. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies in this version. The hosting platform may use necessary access or security cookies, including to protect a private review site. Retailer websites have their own privacy and cookie policies when you visit them.
Keeping information
Update-list information is kept while subscribed; unsubscribing removes it from this site’s update list. Contact submissions are kept to handle enquiries and are available to the operator for deletion when no longer needed. Hosting backups and operational records may have different retention periods set by the provider.
